Google’s Chrome OS is usually found in Chromebooks and Chromeboxes. But LG have made an all-in-one computer that runs Chrome OS. The computer is called the Chromebase and features a 21.5 inch 1080p IPS display, 2GB of memory and 16gb of solid state storage.
The computer comes with its own keyboard, mouse, speakers, webcam, USB ports and networking, but it sounds like it can also still act as a monitor for another PC, thanks to an HDMI input around back.
With Chromebooks sporting a low-end price-tag, you can expect the Chromebase to follow suit, although there’s currently no official word on how much it’ll cost just yet. LG’s bringing its Chrome OS-running all-in-one to CES next month though, so you can expect to hear a lot more about it in the coming weeks.
