Samsung’s Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Gear 2 will be released in April according to a Samsung executive who spoke to Bloomberg this week.
Samsung Mobile executive vice president Lee Young Hee confirmed that the S5 was on course to be released around the same time as the Galaxy S4 was launched last year. She then confirmed that the S5 would probably feature a bold design departure from the S4 saying, “for the S5, we will go back to the basics. Mostly, it’s about the display and the feel of the cover.”
Talking about the Galaxy Gear 2, Young also confirmed that there would be a new model launching alongside that would improve on the ‘bulky’ design of the original Samsung Galaxy Gear.
Also, screenshots of Samsung’s redesigned TouchWiz interface have been leaked by @evleaks. The redesigned interface is alot sleeker and cleaner compared to Samsung’s current TouchWiz interface.
