These are the SoundPeats Force, a pair of earbuds that are high quality, feature a neckband to bring increased comfort to wearing the earbuds and they’re also splash-proof, which makes them fantastic for bringing along to a workout.

Design

The design of the SoundPeats Force is very good, thanks to the high-quality plastic and silicone construction. There are also a bunch of different sized ear-tips and ear-hooks included in the box which will ensure that the earbuds sit well in your ears.

The ear-hooks come in handy when you take the earbuds along with you to a workout as it helps to prevent the earbuds themselves from slipping out of your ear. When you don’t have the earbuds in your ears, you can magnetically attach the earbuds together so they aren’t swinging around you when you aren’t wearing them.

These earbuds also feature a silicone neck-band that means the earbuds are extremely comfortable to wear. This is partly thanks to the neck-band being able to distribute the weight of the earbuds so it sits across your entire neck.

Not that these earbuds are heavy to begin with, it just makes them even nicer to wear. This is especially true during a workout, as the weight of the in-line volume controller doesn’t pull at all when running, compared to other earbuds without a neckband where the earbud with the in-line controller may slowly fall out your ear.

Speaking of the in-line controller, it is fairly simple as it has your playback controls. You’ll also find the microphone there and also the micro-USB charging port.

Sound Quality

The sound quality of the earbuds is very good. One thing to note with these, though, is that there is quite a lot of bass. It is nice to have when you’re sweating it out on the treadmill and need that punchy beat, but maybe not so much when you’re listening at home or on the commute.

I have to say though, even with my comments on the bass, the sound is still extremely clear and vocals sound exceptional – so personally, I’m still pretty happy with how these earbuds sound.

The earbuds also get very loud, so if you’re looking for a powerful pair of earbuds these are the pair that you’re going to want to pick up. I guess the “Force” name of the earbuds is quite fitting.

Microphone Quality

The microphone quality is good enough for phone calls but it’s nothing ground-breaking. The microphone sounds slightly muffled and also quiet which means that you may need to speak a little louder than normal so the person on the other end of the phone line can hear you clearly.

Features & Accessories

The microphone features CVC 6.0 noise cancelling to help to reduce ambient noise when using the earbuds as a headset for voice recording or a phone call.

The earbuds are also IPX5 rated as splash proof, so they’ll be fine in the rain outdoors or indoors inside the gym. So, you won’t have to worry about getting the earbuds too wet.

The earbuds also come with a carrying case where you can store the earbuds when travelling and any additional ear-hooks or tips that you need. These earbuds come with 10 ear-tips and 6 ear-hooks to make sure you have the right size for your ears.

Battery Life

The SoundPeats Force have a fantastic battery life, with up to 16 hours of listening time. This is substantially more than most other earbuds on the market. This seems fairly accurate to my listening time with these earbuds too, when I’ve been using the earbuds for around 5-6 hours – they’ve only dropped down 20% from 100%.

When it comes to charging up the earbuds, that’ll take around an hour and a half. It would be nice to see if some sort of Quick Charge could be added in the future to help bring down that charging time.

Conclusion

So, in conclusion, if you’re looking for a pair of earbuds that are extremely comfortable to wear, sound good and have an exceptional battery life. I’d highly recommend the SoundPeats Force, they’re most likely going to be my go-to pair of earbuds and I’m very happy with how they perform.
